Images captured during award winning artist, musician and song writer Delaney Davidson’s residency at Te Whare Hēra. The images taken during this period document Davidson’s collaboration with activist and artist Tame Iti.
During this time Davidson collaborated on the project ‘ I Will Not Speak Māori’ which resulted in exhibitions at Suite and The Engine Room. This work alongside a nationwide phantom poster campaign sparked new conversation and provoked members of the public to interact, deface and modify the posters to read ‘I Will
